AlertCast cast-in-place truncated dome panels by Detectable Warning Systems offer long life and easy field replacement, should the need arise. Each high impact panel is ready to install with a protective film and pre-installed anchors, which are easily imbedded in wet concrete without disturbing the aggregate. Should there be a need to replace a panel, it is simply unscrewed from the anchor and pried free from the concrete. After cleaning out any debris, the replacement panel is pressed into place and secured by installing the screws back into the anchors. While installation is significantly more involved than installing a surface mounted mat, AlertCast panels are generally longer lasting.
