JBC Safety has recently introduced their line of roll up sign stands.   These rugged stands feature a combination of steel, aluminum and high strength plastic components, and are made in the USA.  Steel is used for the lower assembly, including the base and legs.  The weight of the steel keeps the center of gravity low and adds to the units stability.  Sturdy aluminum is used for the telescoping mast assembly reducing the weight of the stand.  The spring back design reduces the likelihood of collapse in high traffic speed or high wind conditions

The legs of the JBC stand have been designed to be released by either using one's hands or feet.  This feature offers greater protection to the user as it allows the stand to be set up without the technician taking their eyes off of traffic.

The JBC stand also boasts a high strength moulded plastic locking flag holder, which keeps the flags in place.  This high strength flag bracket will not distort or crush like other manufacturer's steel models and factory tests have shown that it is more robust and less likely to break or be crushed than the steel and aluminum components of the stand, even if run directly over.  The flag bracket can be removed for the installation of a flashing beacon.
