The non-springback Traffix Zephyr Stand, with universal sign mounting bracket, is stocked here at Traffic Supply, Inc.  The universal mounting bracket allows the use of almost any roll up sign and back brace except for the Traffix Zephyr line.  Zephyr stands with the Zephyr sign bracket are available by special order.

Although quite compact, only 28" long x 18" wide, the 40lb Zephyr Stand performs better than most steel or aluminum stands when used in urban areas.  The back brace of your roll up sign is clamped to the 24" folding upright, which holds the sign at the MUTCD minimum 12" above pavement level.  The lugs on upper side of the Zephyr stand nestle into recesses on the underside, allowing them to be securely stacked for storage or transport.

Set up of the stand is quick:  simply unfold the upright from the base, and clamp the back brace of the sign to the upright.  That's It; there's no fussy leg pins and springs, no legs to level, no loose leg bolts.  The rubber base is very durable and it's small profile makes it less likely to be damaged if the sign is "clipped" by an inattentive motorist.  The flexibility of the sign back brace prevents the sign and stand from blowing over in most weather and urban speed conditions.  It does have it's limitations though, and we do not recommend the use of the Zephyr stand for use where traffic is at freeway speeds.
