The Traffix Devices TrafFix stand is our most compact portable sign stand. With extendable legs and steel construction for a low center of gravity, it provides a stable stand for 36" and 48" roll up signs. Fully collapsed it's only 25" long, so it's less likely to be damaged riding in the back of a work truck than units with tall masts or long legs. The TraFix stand legs are adjustable, and easily open with a kick of your boot so you don't have to take your eyes off of oncoming traffic. This stand does require the use of plastic pockets on your roll up signs, and a heavy duty back brace is recommended. If there is any drawback to this unit, it is it's weight. At 21 pounds it is substantially heavier than JBC's aluminum offerings, but far more compact.
